About Department

 

The department offers ‘General’ and ‘Honours’ courses since the inception of the college in 1963.

PG course has been introduced since 2015.

The department maintains a rich seminar library for meeting the special demands of students.

Different activities like excursion, annual reunion, wall magazine and cultural programmes are organized by the department.

Alumni of the department are well placed in schools, colleges and various government jobs.
